Interview
Bishop Seán
Manchester’s last interview in the USA was with George Noory for the “Coast to
Coast” Art Bell Show, transmitted from St Louis, USA, Monday/Tuesday 15 July
2002. During his previous three and a half hour interview with Art Bell in
person, 23 August 2001, Bishop Manchester had agreed to return to do one more
show. The interview with George Noory was the fulfillment of that promise. On 20
February 2002, the bishop gave a “live” interview in the United Kingdom. This
was for the James Whale Show on Talksport Radio. Both UK and USA interviews
were “live” and at the invitation of the broadcast companies themselves. Comments
from listeners of the UK programme follow.

Dear Bishop Manchester,
Thank you for your wise words, which overcame the rather belligerent attitude
of the Presenter.
I was horrified and upset when he took such an unpleasant attitude towards
you and, from the outset, began trying to belittle both your Office, and you
personally.
Although he concluded the interview by "fading" you and
contemporaneously
making a childishly disrespectful remark, I believe that this merely
demonstrated his frustration.
In fact, he was forced to resort to his "fader switch" because he had
been
unable to shake your calm honesty with his provocative manner.
It would be easy to imagine some sinister motive on his part, although I
think that he is more foolish than malicious. What did shine through,
however, was your own steadfast goodness.
I am not in the habit of writing nuisance mail to people whom I have heard on
the radio, but I felt that I had to offer my support and good wishes to you
and your mission.
Although you had to weather the storm of this radio interview to do it, you
have taught me an important lesson, for which I am very grateful. You did not
react to the negative comments of Mr. Whale with anger or indignation, as I
must admit that I certainly would have, but rather countered it with
unmoveable reason and truth, which finally prevailed.
Eventually, and notwithstanding Mr. Whale's silly outburst at the end, (which
actually sounded more like the cry of a wounded beast), it was he and not you
who had to "retreat from the field". When I thought about it
afterwards, I
realised that this ability would be essential in one who is strong enough to
undertake the perilous task of exorcism.
There is no doubt in my mind of the truth of your words, or the strength and
courage which it takes to speak them in the tainted atmosphere which prevails
today. I feel certain that hearing you has given courage and inspiration to
many people, of whom I am one.
May God bless you sir.

Hi
Tuned in just in time to catch your discussion with J.W.
What an incredibly rude man who almost ruined a very interesting discussion!
You coped with him very well and with more patience than he deserved.
Have bookmarked your website and will be back later for a longer look.
All the best
